What is IFTTT?
IFTTT is a service that lets you connect other services, together. When an action happens with one service, IFTTT automatically triggers a separate action with another service. In other words: "If this happens, then have that happen."
How do I connect TaHoma to IFTTT?
Connecting your TaHoma with IFTTT is simple. Before you start, make sure you’ve already created your scenes in your TaHoma app. Our instructions should walk you through the whole process so you can enjoy automation through IFTTT.

What are Services?
"Services" (formerly called "Channels") is the term IFTTT uses to describe a third-party service or app. IFTTT currently supports over 600 Services. Somfy TaHoma is a Service within IFTTT
Example: "Hey Google, close my living room shades" -- IFTTT connects the TaHoma interface with the Google Assistant.

How do I make an Applet?
Visit the IFTTT website and click My Applets. Click New Applet and follow the instructions to set up your triggers and actions for your needs. You can also add Applets other users have created by searching or browsing through Discover and Search tabs.
What are some more ways IFTTT can work with Somfy TaHoma?
IFTTT can connect your Somfy TaHoma with additional services not natively supported by the TaHoma app. Here are a few examples:
- Blink my favorite lights and raise/lower Family Room shades when the New York Giants score a touchdown (TaHoma / sports app)
- If the forecast is rainy, lower my Somfy shades (TaHoma / weather app)
- Automatically start Good Evening scene when you get back home (TaHoma / Google Location / Google Assistant)
